New construction of residential real estate in Flagstaff, as elsewhere, slowed during 2007. There is currently work continuing on two centrally located townhome developments that have unsold units that could be available for occupancy almost immediately. Another townhome development and two mixed use developments are doing infrastructure development. Whether any of those three begins to build homes in 2008 remains to be seen. There are no new single family developments, though there are scattered examples of higher end "spec" homes available from individual builders.
