December 2017 was a very strong month for single family homes sales. There were 78 single family home sales for the month. This is up sharply from the 65 sales in December 2016. The common theme of low inventory levels remains, with no signs of change. Much of the country is feeling the same stress caused by low inventory. This is good news for Flagstaff home sellers as this continues to push prices upward. Buyers are feeling anxious about rising prices and limited homes to pursue, especially $400,000 and under. We do not see any indications of a change in tempo for the market as we head into 2018.
There were 15 condo sales and 31 townhomes in December.
