National Fourth Quarter Home Prices Are Up

Nationally the final quarter of the year saw a good amount of sales, bringing the inventory even lower and driving prices even higher according to the National Association of REALTORS®.  You will remember that we have a similar trend in Flagstaff.  The national median existing single-family home price was $247,800. This is up 5.3% from the fourth quarter in 2016. If you saw our year end stats you saw that we ended the quarter with a median single-family home price of $383,000 in Flagstaff.

Price increases happened in 92% of the markets across the country. Nationally there was only a 3.5 month supply of single family homes in the final quarter of the year.  This is down from 4.2 months the previous quarter. To get the full story and Regional Breakdown click here.
